PBF 2008 FREE STAGE ENTERTAINMENT
A variety of family entertainment will be appearing day at the Warren County Prime Beef Festival in Monmouth Illinois, September
3rd, 5th & 6th. Thursday the 4th is armband night at the carnival. The Warren County Prime Beef Festival pays for all Festival Stage entertainment and admission is FREE to Festival goers.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 2008 • 7:00 PM – PAY UP BAND
The "Pay Up" Band will be performing on Wednesday, September 3 on the festival stage at the baseball diamond.
This popular local band is comprised of Jim Cokel, Matt Cooper, Andy Jackson, Cary Crandall, Tim Heatherly and Brant Weil. From a group of friends honing their skills on open mike night at Danny's Tap and looking for more joining with seasoned band members looking to form a new group, these fellows are our extremely popular and busy brand of local entertainment here again teaching you the tunes we love to rock to. The "Payup" Band.
Don't miss them performing their brand of Rock & Roll on stage at this seasons Festival. With tons of room for old and new fans and lots of eats all around to go with the entertainment.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4 2008 • 7:00 PM - SWAY BREEZY
Sway Breezy, an acoustical band from Galesburg, will be performing on the festival stage at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 4.

Poised between the Illinois and Mississippi rivers, Sway Breezy emerges with a sound unlike any other in the region. Guitarist, Steve Squires and drummer, Joshua Dixon make up the two-piece band that grooves hard and makes your days a little bit sunnier. You can almost see the palm trees sprouting from the ground as they play their groovy and melodic set making the entire audience sway in the breeze of better days. In the studio, Sway Breezy record as a full band with Joshua on a complete drum kit and performing backing vocals, while Steve manages the bass, guitar (acoustic and electric), lead vocals and overall production. However, when performing live, Sway Breezy stand solely with their acoustic instruments baring everything musically for all to see.
See the FREE. Tonight is also Arm Band Night and the Figure 8 Derby so entertainment for all in the family.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5 2008 • 7:00 PM - AL HULL
Often headlining, you can come and see the Al Hull band's Elvis show here at our Festival for FREE. With FREE parking, lots of seating and plenty of food and fun all around for before and after the show.
Appearing again at this season's Prime Beef Festival an ever popular entertainment feature conveniently located and certainly priced right !
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 2008 • 7:00 PM - THE PAJAMAS BAND
Something new following the animal scrambles on Super Saturday, swing by the FREE Festival Stage for The Pajamas Band! Al Hull says they are "the ultimate dance band" who will entertain you while you dance. It is a perfect wrap to a day of fun & week @ the festival so kick up your heels or just set back and enjoy the hilarity we say.

All three nights of entertainment are FREE and open to the public. There is no admission fee to the Festival grounds. Thursday is armband night beginning at 6 pm. All amusement rides until closing are for the single price of an armband. Saturday is Kid’s day as well as the Car Show beginning at 8 am with free games and drawings until 11:30 am.
